Relaxing Spinal Decompression Therapy

We begin by putting you either face down or face up on a specially designed table. The position is determined according to your comfort and could be changed in future sessions. For additional comfort, we recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing and removing items from your pockets.

Once comfortable, you'll be fitted with a wraparound harness which secures you while the traction motor unloads your spine and discs. This harness, along with the angle of the table, allows precision treatment to the affected area.

Next, the computer-controlled traction device gently stretches your spinal vertebra in 

1-minute increments for about 15 minutes. During this process, most patients report feeling a slight stretching sensation around their hips and lower back.

Throughout the procedure, patients report feeling a full release of tension and relaxation. Because DTS therapy is based on total comfort, many patients even fall asleep during the session.
